Gingerbread Cookies are great when they are homemade as they make your house smell wonderful! They are my favorite Christmas Cookies to make, because everyone always enjoys them and they are also fun to decorate. This time, I made Christmas tree gingerbread cookies and crinkled edged squares. They are decorated festively with red, green and white royal icing. I usually package them in cute  boxes if I am giving them away to families with children. For couples or those who are single, I usually give them a pair of cookies in a clear bag tied with pretty ribbon.
