Applesauce is one of my favorite snacks to feed a baby. It is so easy and quick to make and the baby loves it. Here is a very simple recipe if you would like to try making some too!
It can also replace oil in muffin and cake recipes and is a great addition to some cookie recipes as well.
Ingredients:
2 apples - peeled,cored and quartered
1/3 cup of water
1/2 tsp. of cinammon
Instructions:
Place apples and water in a pot. Boil for 2 minutes, then simmer for 8 minutes with the lid on.
Let cool and blend with cinammon.
Easily double or triple the recipe and simmering for an extra 10 minutes.
If you are in a big hurry, chop the apples into smaller pieces before boiling them.
