A couple of weeks ago, the Aviva Community Fund Charity Contest started. It is now time for the second qualifying round and it is so easy to cast your vote! First, a quick recap about what the contest is all about. The Aviva Community fund helps give the chance to those with ideas on how to improve their community an oppourtunity to do so. Those who have submitted their ideas on how they can improve their community enter the contest and try to gain as many votes as possible in order to win the funds to turn their idea into reality. It is personally important to me, because I know our own community is in need of reading programs as well as more donations for the food bank.
Anyone in Canada, registered on the Aviva Community Fund website can vote. Once you have registered simply sign in and click on the "Vote now" button on the idea you like most. You can also vote directly through their Facebook voting app, which can be found here Facebook.com/AvivaCommunityFund.
During each of the qualifying rounds and the Semi-Final phases of the competition, voting will take place. You are allowed to vote up to 15 times during each of the 3 initial rounds and 15 more times during the Semi-Finals. Each idea can only be voted for once a day, but you can vote for as many ideas as you would like. Keep in mind that you have only 15 votes and once a vote has been cast, it cannot be changed.
