This creamy mushroom pasta is very easy to make and you can add your favourite vegetables such as broccoli, spinach, kale or anything else you desire.
Ingredients:
2 cups uncooked penne pasta1/4 cup butter
1 small onion, diced
1/2 cup of sliced mushrooms
1 1/2 cups of cream
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
dried parsley (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Cook penne in boiling water for 10-12 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter then sauté the diced onion for a few minutes.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for a few minutes.
- Pour in the cream and stir until heated thoroughly.
- Add the pasta and parmesan cheese and stir again.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with parsley before serving if desired.
